Watched Fool Me once , watch a pile of shit, so many plot holes and not needed plot twists. 8 episodes of mainly the lead character driving around from one place to another to uncover a tiny snippet of information, it could have been done in 4 episodes. Then finding out what the whole story was about in the last 2 episodes, so in essence it's very fluffed out with pointless crap.
I couldn’t even make it through the whole first episode. The characters felt really one dimensional. The dialogue didn’t sound anything like how people actually talk. All the settings were too aesthetically perfect and didn’t have any sort of real feel to them. I like shows with characters who feel like real people in real settings. This was maybe a step up from a crappy network-y drama. But clearly based on the fact these books sell like hotcakes at the airports and keep getting turned into television shows means there is a strong market for this. I am just not it.
