-Family rooms that span the entire depth of one side of the house instead of leaving a separate room for a formal living room/office space

-Built ins that don't have symmetry or balance. (ie: a built in, only on the extreme left or right of a wall)

-Crown moulding, wainscoting, and etc can be  gorgeous but there is a very delicate balance in how much is too much which can turn classy into tacky[/quote]
