We regularly have “snow” days off when it only rains (yes, even upcountry). If other school districts are closing early tomorrow, so will we. There is no penalty - if kids have lunch, it counts as a day of school for the state.[/quote] I am not new here. I have HS and college kids and I am used to MCPS closing when there is zero issue or precipitation. But I didn't used to see DCUM cheering on the hysteria in advance. [/quote]
