I was initially appalled at the quoted price for my 3k sf house. They charge by square feet even for bedroom where 75% is furniture. DH insisted on a cleaner to help me out but it was more stressful trying to clean up the kids’ bedroom floor just so they could run the vacuum over that. It wasn’t really clean and only “looked tidy” because of my pre-pickup which was not easy on a Thursday morning before getting out the door. (He was sincere but clueless…. he thought they were “maids” and asked why I didn’t just talk to them or try and find someone else each time.) After trial and error and it not being clean enough for me and even after paying more and pointing out the inconsistency between teams….My answer is that Now they only do a deep clean of bathrooms and kitchens and vacuum and dust the main level. I still pay about 2/3 of what I’d pay for a full house, but I am a lot happier! I vacuum our bedrooms rooms every week and do a pickup almost everyday anyway. But I really hate to clean the tubs, Shower, and toilets and they do a really good a job with that. And with my current team it seems like if they have extra time thry throw in extras that I wasn’t expecting (or paying for).
