Please don't pretend to speak for Achilles parents.  In my son's three years at Achilles no coach was abusive toward him.  And you have no idea what the relationships between the coaches and the kids or the parents are.  If you have a specific experience, share it, especially if your son has had a great experience and/or soccer development elsewhere after leaving Achilles.  Take your chance to be positive. I'm asking about your experience. Go ahead.  I gave you mine.  What I said was, my son suffered zero abuse over three years at the club. He had, and has, a positive relationship with all the coaches there, including Sal.  Don't tell be about the forum.  And don't try to speak for other people.

What's your experience? "So many people" seems inaccurate.  More likely the same person reviving old threads, like this one, and saying the same things without elaboration or any indication of what club or experience worked for their son.  I suspect your, or whomever's, son doesn't play at a high level.  And that's great, just no need to keep up this constant barrage of uninformed vitriol against the coaches and parents at Achilles.  Achilles isn't perfect, for sure, and I've posted what I thought were balanced and specific descriptions of our experience there in other threads.  Any chance you could do the same?  What worked for you?[/quote]
