[/quote] And the irony is that colleges bend over backwards to pick disadvantaged kids but when they’re comparing one with a job, they don’t seem to give it any weight. The kids who did the unpaid internships still get the boost - the ones that actually cost mom and dad money and therefore require privilege. [/quote]
