There are doctors who specialize in Menopause despite there being a severe lack of focus on women's health in this country. I had relatively uneventful perimenopause, but full on menopause has really negatively impacted my life--anxiety, severe depression (never experienced before), gained a lot of weight, brain fog, going to restroom all the time. I'm way too young to accept dealing with that for the rest of my life. I still have adolescent kids to keep up with!

It's BS that anyone would suggest it's not worth trying to seek treatment or get relief. You matter. Your health matters. Just focus on that. Don't listen to some of the unkind, unhelpful responses here. Good luck, OP. I hope you get some relief soon.[/quote]
