For the kids who took pre-algebra in 7th, they place you in Algebra 1, Algebra 1 intensified. If you took 6/7/8 math in 6th grade, you are placed in Algebra 1 intensified and Geo intensified. So in 8th grade it could be pre-algebra for 8th, Algebra 1, Algebra 1 intensified, or Geometry intensified. [/quote]
