A local daycare that does not provide transportation does not have the same safety concerns as a large countywide public school system responsible for busing thousands of children. It's terrible for families. I was so happy to finish that phase of my family's life. Schools delay at the drop of a hat because it costs them nothing, but there are consequences for most working parents with kids in daycare. [/quote] PP here, and I totally get that. It’s definitely annoying when MPCS closes for rain and now allll the kids are stuck at home, not just my oldest. But the other PP was making it seem like daycares are doing it cause they’re un-creative which is not the case. [/quote]
