What's a "liberal" vs a "leftist"?[/quote]Liberals believe is truth, science, evidence, and reality.  Leftists are like religious fundamentalists in that they don't let any of the aforementioned qualities alter their beliefs.  Most leftists are Marxists while liberals still believe in capitalism even if we see issues with it and want some reforms. Most leftists are critical theorists while liberals tend to be more rational and want less extreme solutions.  President Obama is liberal.  Kristin Mink is a leftist.[/quote]
