I like a physical menu but I’m not going to act like a snowflake if I am asked to use the QR code.
Same... I can't imagine throwing a fit over not having a paper menu. The only people I know IRL who get mad about this are anti-vaxxers/covid deniers. Basically people who are still "rebelling" against covid lol. I know many small restaurants who stopped using paper menus as they are costly to update and maintain, but the QR code menu can be updated each morning easily.
It is really not hard to understand why people do not like them. Many of us are not glued to our phones. I do not always have it on me, or it’s low or out of battery. Many people have trouble reading a lot on a phone. I find the menus hard to navigate. If they want to not have paper menus fine - but then have an ipad or /kiosk with a larger screen available. It also just takes away from the experience. If I am in Panera - sure -I will use a kiosk. But if I am going to a place where I am sitting down and being waited on, I do not want to have to work to order my meal - especially when the waiter or waitress will still expect a tip. It is fine if you like it, but it is odd that you think not liking QR codes has anything to do with anti-vaxers.
