Agreed - I swear these are all things we did as kids and now parents just want to helicopter everything.  I don't know about you but my kids are much more tame than I was and frankly these are milestones they need to experience.[/quote]

Agree. My daughter is going. They will have an older sibling chaperone (mid 20’s) and there will be parent meetings beforehand to discuss rules. I trust my daughter and so far she has made very safe and reasonable decisions when out and/or drinking (that I know of. But she tends to tell us EVERYTHING - that’s just her personality). So I’m good with it. [/quote]
