Every family has health issues.
Not necessary. My parents are in early 80s and don't take any meds and don't have any chronic deceases. I am 45, no diagnoses at all, I get checked up annually with family dr, obgyn. Never take medication, occasional vitamins. My all kids are healthy. No even allergies to anything. No one have any mental health issues that we are aware of.
This is me, too. My siblings and I didn’t even need braces. My parents in their 80s and take minimal meds. Blessed with hearty, good genes. But I married into a family that although luckily doesn’t have major issues, OMG do they have every minor issue ever. Heartburn (I didn’t even know what what was, they all keep Tums everywhere), sensitive stomachs, sensitive skin, seasonal allergies, anxiety, susceptible to every cold that goes around. Totally different health profile. Time will tell how our kids turn out.
Not taking meds doesn't mean no health issues. In fact many times some of the most serious health issues ie thrones you drop dead fry instantly don't appear on routine screenings. This the " he/ she was so healthy " shocked at death. And even if not smug ahole is never a good look.
