[/quote] In truly wealthy circles the mom definitely skews younger because she doesn't have to work. In middle-class/upper middle/class circles where the mom works most moms have kids in their upper 30s. 40 and up is on the older end (even for celebrities). I'd say my family is middle-class in the DMV (HHI of $450) and we had our first at 28 and our last at 37. I was young for my first, but definitely on the older end for our fourth. [/quote]
