I live a couple streets away in historic Takoma park and willow is a great street to live on. There is indeed the TPCDC childcare center that could be a bit close (on the map you will see it as the Presbyterian church). My kids used to go to that childcare center and one of the 3 playgrounds is in the back and could be close to your backyard but that’s usually where they put the youngest kids. (Imagine 15 kids at a time, 3-4 year olds, playing ina backyard, not my idea of a nightmare but maybe yours). Go during the day and you will get an idea of what that means in terms of noise.

The price actually seems low for the description. A renovated house that size in that street would go for 1.4M I think (just check the comps). But maybe with high interest rates the prices finally came down.

I know nothing about the history of the house but I can tell you this is a GREAT family friendly location. Walkable to everything (all schools, loads of kids activities, downtown TKPK), lots of kids, neighborhoody etc.l.. [/quote]
