It depends on the major more than the overall college.

The following majors require Calculus

All Engineering majors
    All Business majors
    Arts and Sciences:
        Biology
        Chemistry and Biochemistry
        Computer Science
        Economics
        Environmental Science (not Environmental Studies)
        Mathematics
        Neuroscience
        Physics
        Public Health

The following majors do not require Calculus

Arts and Sciences:
        Anthropology
        Art and Art History
        Classics
        Communication
        English
        Environmental Studies
        Ethnic Studies
        History
        Liberal Studies
        Modern Languages
        Music
        Philosophy
        Political Science
        Psychology
        Religious Studies
        Sociology
        Theatre and Dance
        Women and Gender Studies

Yes, but that’s to graduate from the college.  Not admission. UVA May not require calculus to graduate in religion. But good luck getting in from the DMV without taking it in HS. [/quote]

It really says something about how out of whack everything is when you need more advanced course work to get into college than to get out. [/quote]
