We are a family of 5 and would turn over that amount of food in a month anyway. Better to have it in the pantry.

I'm not anticipating a collapse but again, there is very little cost and/or hassle, and lots of upside if you can't or don't want to leave the house for several weeks. And this is what happened during the first few months of the pandemic. [/quote]
