Would agree. Spellman isn't really known for CS but does offer the HBCU experience. GA Tech however is a top 20 school for CS. [/quote]

I don’t know about the CS department, but, in any STEM field, the best school for most students is the school that wants to help kids stick, not weed them out.

This, and the best school is the one your child is happy at.  With CS, she will do great if she's bright and talented from any school.  My spouse went to a no name school and has the same opportunities as those from "better" schools.  A better school might get you in your first job quicker but from then on its about skill, interviewing skills and many other factors.  Let her decide which is the best fit.  Both are very good schools.[/quote]
