I don’t like DeSantis, I’m still glad he did this, and I think it’s an appropriate thing to spend taxpayer dollars on, but just to get the facts straight, this did cost Florida taxpayers $4 million.

Considering the large Jewish population in Florida and the total $500 million in the state's Emergency Preparedness and Response Fund, this is a drop in the bucket.  Good for him.

Jews make up 3.1% of the population in Florida. In southern Florida Jews make up 9.1% of the population in the with most in Palm Beach County(15%). These are heavily democratic areas. Now evangelical Christians make up 24% of the states population. He is not do this for the Jewish vote. [/quote]
