Tell your child they have to have all snap conversations on “delete after 24hrs” and not delete immediately. Know their log in. Have snap on your own phone with their log in and you can log in at any time. Watch a snap tutorial online so you know where to look for things. For Your Eyes folders are where a lot of kids hide things. Also take a look at their pictures/videos and deleted pics/videos. Teens tend to screen record comment videos when they half swipe - meaning before they fully open them. That is where I have found the most info. The snap group chats are where kids are at their worst and they are always listed. Sometimes a deleted comment here or there but most are dumb enough to just leave their comments for everyone to see.
Looking for this. How do I set this?
Have your kid do it in front of you. Because otherwise he/she is going to change it to delete immediately as soon they get the phone back. I agree with the other poster who said to have all their social media apps on your phone and know the log ins. Randomly do it as needed. Check their phone to make sure they don’t have multiple accounts. Most IG and TT users have regular and then spam accounts. Click on their user name up top and it will show if they have multiple accounts - if they are on the same email.
