yes- great for pre-med for many reasons.   They have a top Med school and nursing school and are sandwiched between 2 hospitals (University and Cleveland Clinic)[/quote]

Thanks!!  How is the campus compare to Pitt U?  DC likes Pitt U but the campus is really busy with big roads and traffic.  But Carnegie Mellon's campus is fine eventhough is just next to Pitt U.  Is Case's campus similar to Pitt U or CMU?[/quote]

I've not been to Pitt or CMU but I went to Case.  [b]It's not in an area that feels like a downtown city at all but is surrounded by University Hospitals of Cleveland plus the museums (with their lawns/gardens) and homes.  [/b]There is one main road (Euclid) that cuts through campus but it's more of a Blvd than a highway or a downtown city street.  [/quote]

The CWRU campus is in a far corner of the city so quite separate from Cleveland center city. It definitely has a campus feel with many green quads and open areas. It is in an area called "University Circle" which contains many museums and places of interest. My DS's freshman dorm was next to the Cleveland Botanical Gardens which are beautiful. Severance Hall (the Cleveland Orchestra) is on campus as well as is The Cleveland Museum of Art. My DS took advantage of these at times but spent way more time at Little Italy which is a brief walk from campus![/quote]
