Sounds like your son missed out.  The GloCo after party was a hit and many other schools in the county have started going this route.  Whitman included.  Much better attendance after the football game then on Saturday night.  [b]Kids still dressed up, took pictures had dinner etc on Saturday night but this way kids were all at the dance at the same time instead of sporadically throughout the night as was the case at Churchill's homecoming dance[/b].[/quote]

Wait, so kids dressed up, took HoCo pictures and went to dinner but didn't go to a dance?

What's the impetus behind this trend? Do kids no longer like Homecoming dances? This is all news to me.[/quote]
