LFCIAMD (Liverpool) DC Metro is also located in MoCo. Potomac has a strong 2010 girls team, but I know their roster is FULL.
It is not a strong team. They haven't won a game yet this year. OP, you should look at the top half of the top teams in EDP/NL -- and call them (but avoid Calvert because they are monsters-- truly terrible people). Here's the list: https://system.gotsport.com/org_event/events/24459/schedules?group=188028
^might be one of the most helpful posts on DCUM in recent times. Honest question: Why are so many of the strong teams in Baltimore? Or NoVa? What is wrong with the system in MoCo?
Because premier 1 usys is considered 2nd league. 1st league would be ecnl where stronger girls teams play. It's like having mls next for boys, and then having usys/edp premier 1 (which are 2nd level teams or clubs that do not have mls next).
I think that’s sort of true. As a parent of one of the players on the top teams on this list, I’d say that this bracket is like ECNL 1.5. We get beaten by many Ecnl teams but beat the bottom of the Ecnl teams routinely. And crush the ECNL RL teams. So like a half step below Ecnl. There are fewer GA teams (Armour/Keystone— who else locally?) so can’t speak to experience vs them.
