[/quote] I think it can depend, and you won't really know until you have hearing aids and try it out. HAs can be programmed to reduce some background noise, but if you have hearing issues, then I don't think it will solve your problem completely, but it may make it so that you can attend and enjoy conversation, though you may still have to "work hard" in order to hear what's being said. It's definitely worth exploring with an audiologist. [/quote]
