I mean honestly, if she's sure it's his choice, maintaining her relationship with him I would think is the best possible outcome. You don't know what she's tried or not with him but actually I think she's smart not to kill herself with trying to help an adult. Just because you're a mom doesn't mean that you can make your kid into who you want them to be! And I have 2 VERY SUCCESSFUL kids. Even if they weren't, what can I do.
