[/quote] My DD is in HS and, ofc I talk to her about my views. We talk alot about the "why" of what I believe and also what others would argue/those positions are. My entire family for me and DH are the opposite of us. So those discussions can be given concrete examples "I believe X. Uncle so-and-so believes Y. But this is why I disagree with him." I also flat out call some of it what it is. And I don't sugar coat my views with regard to certain things or people (like Trump).[/quote]
