Had no idea. What about Johns Hopkins, Princeton or Cal Tech. What does he want to do with a physics degree? Although a difficult major, you need to go the PhD route to hope to make a decent living. And like many other fields, there just aren't enough academic or research positions to go around. I don't think a Penn State degree will help any when it comes to the competition for those coveted jobs.[/quote]
