The good thing about LAC Computer Science departments is that you don’t have to go in knowing you’re doing CS. It’s not competitive to get into the major. You just have to take some intro classes and declare a major. Whereas schools like Michigan, Maryland, and Georgia Tech, it’s very hard to get into CS beyond general admissions, especially if you’re a boy.[/quote] If you get a CS degree from a top SLAC, you'll be gainfully employed.
