Let me guess.....butterflies....or bluebird....or ladybugs Isn't funny that nobody ever says "right after my Great Aunt Betty died, we got field mice in the basement. Now, whenever I see a mouse, I think of her." "Right after grandpa died, a family of bats nested in the attic. I always get a warm feeling now when I hear them dart across the night sky"
I have a friend who lost her father. In his lifetime he often collected small frog memorabilia. He was a playwright and wrote one play that had a frog as a central character. Lots of references to frogs in his lifetime. After his passing, my friend periodically sees frogs, cartoons, artwork, etc. She always sees one on the anniversary of his passing and she often sees one at low points in her life when she needs comfort from her "guardian angel". It is rather uncanny how the frogs show up especially when she needs that sign. So, not quite so cute as butterflies or ladybugs, but significant considering his life.
