I stopped doing anything to the leaves on my lawn other than raking a small amount in my front yard into some plant beds. The remaining leaves have never killed my lawn. My lawn looks great. I don't touch them at all in the back and I have no problems with the grass there either. They get blown around enough to not affect my lawn. Lightning bugs and other insects overwinter in leaf littler. We have lost approx. 1/3 of the insects that existed on this planet and it has consequences. [/quote] Stop looking in the mirror.
