Security - are you police?  If not then what is your legitimate role in carrying guns in public?
Defense - are you military?  If not then what is your legitimate role in carrying guns in public?

I live in DC, and I am a gun owner, but the notion of carrying a gun everywhere I go is just plain STUPID.  Unlike you, I don't live every second in fear of my life, or in some wacko psychotic fantasy movie world thinking I'm Rambo or Dirty Harry.[/quote]
