If it’s a concern about allergies or messes, the school can provide a list of acceptable options (my kids’ school did) or they can simply provide it. I have a now college kid who had a problem with low blood sugar. He had to have a snack. I would have asked for him to be able to go down to the office to eat one late-morning if I were faced with this scenario for him. [/quote]
