I’m a millennial and dislike phones (although less as I get older) but I get calls from medical providers, clients, kids’ childcare, etc so I will generally pick up because I hate asking people back more than I hate picking up. I say “Hello” and then “May I ask who’s calling?” if they don’t immediately identify themselves. I very much appreciate the phone scripts my mother insisted I learn back in the 90s.[/quote] Yes.
