I LOVED Rabbi Rebecca and Cantor Jerry. They remind me very much of people who I know in those positions. The parties were over the top. I've been to some like that, but overall, I don't think that sort of party is the norm everywhere. Maybe in NY/NJ? Definitely not in DC. DJ Shmuely was trash. I don't know why he was popular in that circle.

But it was also very progressive in talking about periods, having lots of Jews of color and transgender/LGBTQ stuff.
