Costco membership is worth it just for the gas savings.
Um they definitely aren’t. The lines for gas at Costco are so long. Why would you go out of your way to drive to Costco and sit in those long lines just to save $2 on a fill up. Is your time worth so little to you?
Where we live it’s usually 40-50 cents cheaper and the line moves pretty quickly. Plus I like that they control the direction of traffic and you don’t have to maneuver to access a pump. I won’t make a special trip but if I’m in that general area, it’s worth a few extra minutes to save $8. It adds up when you drive a lot. We’re not all DCUM rich. But to answer the OP’s question, if you’re not interested in a membership otherwise, get a printed quote for the tires you want there and have Discount match it. Costco’s tire shop is SLOW when you need their service and I prefer somewhere I can get an early morning appointment.
