American now announces you have to wear headphones. Flew Sunday and that was the first time I heard that. No clue if they enforce it but it’s a start. [/quote]

Heard this, too, on an American flight over the weekend. At first I thought it was an odd announcement, and then I encountered multiple people listening without headphones and though “kudos to American!”  Sadly on one flight the announcement was ignored by not 1 but 2 people near me. [/quote]

I was the PP who mentioned that the flight attendant enforced it. This was on Frontier.[/quote]
