[/quote] Davidson does lean liberal like most colleges and is still affiliated with the more progressive Presbyterian Church (USA). The new college president Doug Hicks is an alum and ordained minister. The college has signed on to the UChicago principles on free speech, and there is a greater tolerance of dissenting opinions on campus than you may find in other SLACs. [/quote]
