Burke is more competitive now and I highly doubt they have openings.  It can't hurt to call but it definitely doesn't have rolling admissions or random spots open. If they have a spot its because of an unexpectedly student departure. Burke is getting solid kids who are looking for something specific. You're not going to walk up in August and just get accepted. Okay we're giving OP suggestions on schools that might be happening.  If Burke is so super duper exclusive and is unlikely to admit OP's child than can we STFU about it?[/quote]
