You know I am the poster that got all bent out of shape on that thread about the use of the word karma, but I have to say here it is actually used correctly. Natalie Portman cheated on him and married him knowing he was a cheater only to end up cheated on. He hasn't gotten the karma HE deserves but in this case it is about a person who had agency getting a taste of their own medicine, not entirely innocent third parties. Of course here their children suffer too but pp seems to be saying karma is striking NP not the kids. [/quote]

Sorry I don’t think it’s different at all. Morgan and Bode stole someone’s baby and as a result, they lost their own baby too. That’s karma. The same thing happened to them just as they did to someone else. Just like Natalie Portman. She cheated with Benjamin and now has been cheated on.[/quote]

Yes and sharing your child with a horrible coparent who tries to steal custody is NOT the same as having a child die. The millers seem like awful people, but what happened to them was worse and I don't know any parent who would say otherwise. And not to bring up that thread again but when someone dies it feels exceptionally wrong to imply that they are the victim of cosmic justice they had no part in. In a way that does not apply to Portman's children who will still have both of their parents and who are physically unharmed. [/quote]
