Turns out I have done hard labor outside in the summer, and turns out I am also an immigrant. I have nothing against immigrants. I just happen to believe that perhaps people shouldn't sleep in lawns that aren't theirs? But I also have enough introspection to ask about other peoples' opinions. Seems like everyone here thinks they would be thrilled to have people sleeping on their front lawns.
I'm an immigrant, and not only would I be thrilled, I'd join them and offer them some beer. Learn their language like I did and go practice it. That's exactly what I did last Friday with a construction crew working on our building. They had Pico de Gallo, grilled chicken, sausages, and beer. It was me and 8 men. It was like a sausage fest. We had so much fun, but then came the rain (and my boyfriend). We did get some older man (white ofcourse) about to come over and give us all a stink eye, but something made him turn around. Now I'm asking the guys what they are doing coming Friday night. Op, get a life.
