Are EVs entirely without environmental downsides? No, of course not. Are they still better for the environment overall than gas cars? Yes. Personally, I have an EV, but I still try to avoid driving as much as possible -- walking, biking, and taking public transit are all better for the environment than driving an electric car are.[/quote]
