Not sure about WI. [/quote] These numbers largely track with the demographics of the states as a whole. The population of Michigan is roughly 78% White and 14% Black or African-American, whereas the state of Wisconsin is 84% white and only 6% Black or African-American. So it makes sense that there would be proportionally fewer African-American students in Madison.[/quote]
