Plenty of us generic white folks grew up in areas with ethnic European food traditions. Italian, Irish, Greek, Polish, Hungarian. You had exposure to your family’s traditions, but also what was offered in the community. Not everywhere eats/ate bland church cookbook food.[/quote]
