Fortunately all the catholic and religious conservative Hispanics moving in will keep the status quo.
"On Friday, the Washington Blade reported that the National Council of La Raza, the country’s largest Latino civil rights organization, has unanimously endorsed marriage equality." http://thinkprogress.org/lgbt/2012/06/25/505440/national-council-of-la-raza-endorses-marriage-equality/ Can't count on blacks, can't count on Latinos. Who can a homophobe trust these days?
Obviously there's plenty of people for phobes to count on bc when it comes to the Gen pop voting, gay marriage has not yet won.
No, it's just the phobes. The old geezers get out to vote, and they are mostly afraid of homosexuals. The young people vote less, and thanks the the Republicans its getting harder and harder for them to even register. But the old folks won't be around long, and the generation that replaces them is heavily pro-marriage. Gay marriage is inevitable.
