People I know at MLK seem happy.  I'm not hearing its as bad as the KSAC.  The KSAC Senior coaches are very good and may be worth tolerating the Jr. coach if the location is better but be warned the location may move to Silver Spring.

Basically try out at as many locations as you can.  I don't have a fast swimmer but we got lucky where only a few kids tried out at that location for that age group.  MLK and Olney are easier to get into.  KSAC is very hard.  It used to be easier to when they had two try outs - spring and summer and easiest was to get in during the spring session when fewer would try out due to summer team starting.  But, keep trying.  It took us maybe 3 cycles of trying out at multiple pools.  We did county Stroke and Turn classes.  City of Rockville also had higher level classes till you can get in if you are willing to travel.[/quote]
