There should not be any drama or issues here.  The team that qualified should be the team that goes to All-Stars.  Full stop.  The sub should be used only if one of those kids can't attend.  Totally irrelevant if the ladder changes later on.[/quote]

I don’t disagree but the two week gap is just bad.  This whole season is bad where you are having A meets before the school year is over.  Move All Stars back a week to the first weekend in August.  It isn’t a team event anyway so families can choose to do it or not without impacting their team[/quote]

Many coaches also coach year run club swimming and August is the only month they get off.

Plus with school starting august 22nd families need some time off as well.

July 4th is what is messing with relay carnival and will impact it next year as well. As a rep I like the extra week before All star realys. Give reps more time for things like ASR merch orders, finding volunteers and so forth.
