I see good looking guys all the time but don't lust over them. For me, I understood the root of his issues because I had similar childhood issues. Most people assume because of my accomplishments I had an easy Ozzy & Harriet upbringing but that was far from the case. So when he told me about his parents and things he experienced as a kid, I understood how damaging that can be in your adult relationships if you don't get closure with the past. For him, I guess he found me easy to talk to and he probably shared things he hadn't ever discussed with anyone. It probably felt good to get things off his chest. He is not a bad guy. Just a guy with serious issues that will never find happiness unless he finds peace with his inner demons.[/quote]
