THIS! We have a few of these asshats in the neighborhood. My husband and I have had words with two of them, the only thing that garners a response is to threaten to kick their dogs if the dogs in any way threaten us or our children. Asking them to respect the leash law had no effect. Instead, we were met with indifference. People with small dogs seem to be the worst offenders. When we told the owners to collect their dogs or risk having them kicked, they quickly responded. I wouldn't hesitate to harm an animal that threatened me or my child. [/quote]
