Prep graduated 21 senior varsity players, which will definitely impact their team. However, people forget how much depth they have and how many underclassman played significant roles this past year. They return a starting attackman who is committed to Georgetown, a starting LSM who is headed to Notre Dame, a starting defenseman who is headed to Villanova, a starting midfielder who is headed to Johns Hopkins, a starting fogo, a starting ‘25 defenseman who will be highly recruited by top D1 programs cone September, and many other players, committed and uncommitted. Prep won’t be as good as they were this year, but they will likely contend for the championship. I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Prep vs Landon in the championship game again.
Don't disagree that GP and Landon will most likely be the top IAC contenders next Spring. Prep graduated a ton of firepower on offense, but losing Kabari and Burns, arguably the best HS attack tandem in the country will be hard to come by. The younger Horning player is a solid attackman but life will be much harder next year drawing the top defenseman. Landon on the other end, lost two very strong defenders however brings back their entire offense and Kevin Miller returns from ACL injury - bearing no setback. Landon's best player last year was the 2024 LSM who is uncommitted. The wildcard will be the HS transfer portal(sadly  ) ... is the Bullis attackman jumping ship? If he joins the Lil Hoyas roster, I'd give GP a slight edge over the Bears next spring.
