What a huge waste of time to have kids traveling from campus to campus unsupervised instead of just appearing the two schools.
ACPS wants all high school students to benefit from the CHSN aka Connected High School Network. Why should only some students get to use the state of the art facilities? That would not be equitable.
I bet within three to five years, MH and ACHS would be "connected" in name only. All the students who, as people have posted here before, "are in AP and never see the violence" will just all be in the new building. The segregation that goes on now needs to be out in the open. The mayor, city council, school board and ACPS and voters don't want to take the steps that are necessary to put an end to the gangs (they won't even say the word as though "crews" changes anything) and the violence. Doing that doesn't align with their political beliefs and that is what is important.
